If you are a centralized platform it's practically impossible to not act as a centralized platform.
Discussion
It turns out that things are what they are, not what people want them to be. Shocker
What can be, unburdened by what has been. Their discussion on the merits of Nostr is also pretty banger! https://primal.net/e/note1myawuxvc2lmwr6aqvntuz6uhxwszdfgd804wt3u9ewj3chdwuk4sl6hpwe
Pretty....😉
so you're saying ... power corrupts ?
This is exactly the larping by mining pools run by a single entity when they claim to be "decentralised".
????
What made it possible for bluesky to acquire so many users and why hasn't nostr been able to have that same attraction?
twitter, and twitter
the recent influx was woke liberals fleeing X for fake decentralised bluesky (blue twitter)
they then proceeded to overwhelm bluesky support with demands for censorship, of course
also, i have worked with the protocol and there is a lot of gay homo sex chatter, so i guess the homos liked it too... basically it's become an enclave of liberals isolated from the conservatives who don't like bluesky
also a lot of liberal enabler NGO type political orgs have been flinging fiat at bluesky, Inc so they have doused the social networks with influencers and influencvatising
bluesky really isn't decentralised also, it's at best federated, and they own the biggest hub that everyone else feeds events up to, and there used to be more leaves on the tree but it's turning into a stump
