There was a reply bot dude before. He let loose lots of reply bots and reply girls to prove a point about the relays. After a while he admitted to it and shut it down. Maybe it’s still him, maybe it’s a copycat 🤷🏾♂️
What was the point?
Highlight the flaws in spam filtering
Spam filtering is super easy. Just ask "does this user reply to anyone?" If not, then they are a repost bot. And ask "does anyone reply to this user?" If not, then they are a reply guy.
The devs seemed to have lots of issues with it. WoT solved parts of it. Other filtering methods did too. But it ultimately stopped when the guy turned it off if I remember correctly
