Price complaints are a form of feedback. Complaining about it is not the way. Is you can’t sustain as is, then it’s probably not something to be working on. Shaming people is not going to help.
Discussion
Yeah, I get this but at the same time people are entitled and think it should all be free when it simply isn't free to run Nostr services.
Ignore them?
No, you shouldn't ignore them.
this is true. Oftentimes I don't understand why the immediate reaction is to shame the people who give feedback when it was never a personal thing to begin with. And often those who shame people are backed by the madness of the crowd and it gets overwhelming just watching it unfold. On a diff note, I was reading Grow the Pie by Alex Edmans, I should do a book review on it. You might like it.
It is not the job of a provider to complain in public. Take it up with the complaining customer or ignore them if they are not a customer. Not that hard.
Would love to read your book review!
Hard disagree. People are unaware of the price they pay 💰 n traditional social media, as it is hidden.
Changing from that to different model requires a paradigm shift that can only happen if people point out the problem and actually start educating about it
Prices should include the costs of production in their estimation. If nobody wants to buy the product/service at that price, there are at least two options :
1. Increase value proposition
2. decrease per unit production costs
It would be better to address the concerns of paying customers as opposed to blaming non-buyers for not buying. But hey, I'm just a rando on the internet 🤷♂️
Exactly 👍
