Yep Ive been pilled already. The decentralised crap is horrific and they can go fuck themselves. Even after only a day when i went back to twitter i nearly vomited.
I am also looking down the rabbit hole of a relay.
Trying to work out how to back my shit up, have seen some people say all their stuff is gone due to the relay down or something similar, not quite understanding this part yet, any advice???
People are complaining because they remove relays and lose followers. It’s because they only interact with those users on that specific relay and when the relay is removed the client no longer detects they are being followed by that person. The person following you is still following you but they want see your post because you are no longer writing to that relay….. that’s the gist but clients have a super unique ways of adding additional layers to this.
