I keep oscillating between "there are too many people on this planet" and "we need more people on this planet" and the reason for both is that people are so fucking stupid.

Yes, but then we have more idiots to drag us down with.

On the other hand, I don't see any way to increase the total output of our species without increasing the total number of individuals.

It's a numbers game, after all.

Absolutely. Like I said, a numbers game, but boy do I wish we could tilt it a little more towards the smart ones lol.
