Here’s a scary thought. The grocery store you go to has cameras. The gas station you fill up at has cameras. The dispensary you go to has cameras. The hospital you go to when sick has cameras. Those cameras record everything and the video ends up saved on some server. All it takes is for an AI service to offer better marketing to the business to figure out who you are. The AI can search through the internet and find a match of your face from the camera footage to your nostr posts or other media pages (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook). Then AI analyzes your npub and figures out who you are by connecting it with your ID from the dispensary. Then the AI company sells that data to 3rd party advertisers and shares it with the government for “regulatory and compliance reasons.” Now your nostr identity and real world identity are permanently connected. Then the ads you start to see become very accurate and creepy. The data can then be used to find your address fairly easily. It’s pretty dystopian.
