My 3rd party payment bitpay put my transaction fee right low without my knowledge. Now look at this mess!

Not pretty, lighting will become increasingly important for medium sized payments in the future

I look forward to the day when I only settle paychecks on chain once every few months

So, am I correct this tx may be lost forever? If not about a month

I’ve never had one that far back - but I’m pretty sure it will be pruned from most mempools if volume stays like this

I’m not sure the nature of your transaction, but if it’s your UTXO it will remain yours even if your transaction fails

If it’s someone else’s and they are paying you for a good/service, I would just ask them to pay again with a higher fee if it fails
