Made a rule for myself to have zero phone use between 8pm and 8am for 2026 and it’s been amazing for sleep quality and morning nervous system regulation.

No blue light at night is a major win and in the morning, movement + breath + meditation + gentle sunlight is the way.

Highly recommend.

Any reason for those exact times or does it just fit your schedule? Its seems 8pm would be prime time phone use

The phone is pretty stimulating and I’ve noticed my breath gets shorter when I’m using it which causes stress in the body.

I’d prefer to use it during the day when I’m working and turn it on airplane mode on night, opting to read a book and/or do yin yoga with therapeutic music to wind down for sleep.
