maybe you click delete and it gives a confirm delete dialog with the description:
“Deletion on a decentralized network is not guaranteed, there may be some clients and relays that don’t recognize the delete request, but we will try our best”

I fall asleep already , it’s morning here . Carry on tmrw .
I think most people would probably appreciate the honesty
if you pick your own relays you already know their stance on deletions, no?
its not just relays, clients can cache notes and ignore deleted. damus ios and notedeck work this way atm. there will be thousands of clients that won’t support deletes
Also your notes could get propagated to relays beyond just the initial set you post to. Relays sync between each other all the time
deleted, signed events can be rebroadcasted to any relays that will accept them
No delete or request delete needed by me.
Fuck it. I would love to delete shit I’ve posted or at least change and edit it, but:
If it means a lot to you for business or other purposes, be diligent and proofread many times before posting.
There is immense beauty in the imperfection that error leave behind. We must learn to accept those and learn from it.
Part of that beauty I see, comes in the form of relays.
Just my 2 sats!
that errors leave behind.
You don't delete, you repudiate.
It could be that, perbaps shown once. Andor an info icon next to 'delete request' that you can press and it shows you that bit of text
