Yesterday a #Bitcoin miner was able to solve a block by themselves using 17Th/s

They were most likely using an Antminer S9 from 2017 that now costs $125 and it earned them $178,500 🙌

At today’s difficulty, with that much hash, it takes on average 450 years to find a block 😮

Absolutely bananas. I'm sure the ~$180k in fees more than makes up for all the electricity he's had to pay to keep it running

If he liked electricity, we don't know if he has renewable energy...

And most likely it will be for HOLD so the profit tends to infinity apart from the freedom and feeling of having mined a block, unreal.
