There are recipes for ground meat as well---same principle (grind the meat, marinate, dehydrate). For ground meat you simply need a tray that will "hold" the ground meat as it's a bit more fragile--but once it dries it's pretty much like any other jerky.
They also make "syringes" (for lack of a better term) that you can use to squeeze out ground jerky into strips if you'd like...
It's all pretty easy to do at home--and you save a TON of money....
