By “interior space”, do you mean “space in the predator-proof area”, or “space in which they sleep at night”? If it’s the latter, I’ve never given mine nearly so much space!

2.25’ cubed is a reasonable amount of interior protected resting space per duck 👍🏽

Ok, that‘s less than five square feet. Still a fair bit more than I give mine but not quite so huge.

Oh, hang on: do you have those enormous white ones, or meat birds? that would make more sense: mine are only little!

2.25x2.25 = 5.05sf

2.25 tall is pushing it, we might go 3’ tall in our next batch of duck homes
