That could have been a lot worse, and at least it’s the right time of year to be refilling the water tanks, even if you will lose the thermal mass effect.
Yikes! I have a friend in Wales who’s still without power.
Great, thank you! A friend of mine has run out of home-grown.
Does anyone know of a good UK supplier of dried borage?
nostr:npub1me67k8t6vcncq75dlu8mxd70euvful56lz4ky20k3rmxgugvxq2qy23gnm do any of your contacts do dried herbs?
I might have to give them a try, definitely sounds interesting.
I suppose they’re not a million miles from the egg and cheese muffins I make for breakfasts, although those do have a smidge of flour and lots of veggies added in.
Made "carnivore buns" for our burgers last night. "I'll never eat another store bought bun" said my 12 yr old...

They really are great.
2oz room temp cream cheese (or goat cheese)
1 tbsp melted butter
1.5 cups grated cheddar
2 eggs
mix it up
batter will be chunky-ish
distribute between 4 buttered pans

cook at 375° for 15 minutes, flip them over and cook another 5 minutes.

Interesting! What’s the texture like?
How many do you have? Do you have supplemental lighting?
I bought a couple of issues of a new zine about the Peak District, aptly titled *Heath and Mud*.
It’s very prettily presented, both inside and out (I can’t decide if I am charmed or disappointed that the creator wrote me a sweet note on the postcard that I now won’t be able to use).
As you would expect, most of the articles are about outdoorsy things, but they’re not taking themselves too seriously and all the suggested walks include a pub or two.
Beautiful photos, too: she must have a proper camera!

The cold snap has been joined by wind and rain, here. I’m hoping the rain will get rid of most of the snow, at least.
Very strange! I suspect your condensation theory is probably right.
Just checking the basics here, but have you recently started wearing (thicker) socks because it’s got colder…?
That seems more like a client thing than a Nostr thing.
Oh! That makes more sense, my misunderstanding.
Oh, interesting: it has an effect even from skin contact?
I did a foraging class a couple of weeks ago, and the leader was very insistent that it was fine to handle poisonous fungi. He didn’t mention hallucinogenic ones specifically, but I would have thought the same applied. Good to know it doesn’t!
Why don’t you touch them?
My British eyes are seeing poached eggs in a frying pan, with shredded carrot on top, and I am confused!
