See maybe we think that because we’re immersed in bitcoin in a bigger way than most, but in reality there’s a massive amount of people who, even speculatively have bought and held bitcoin who have never used Twitter.
I don’t see many people holding when they were up during the last bull run. I think they would have sold or cut their losses early.
I’m certain you’re right to some extent but also: My cousin has trickled fiat into bitcoin here and there since 2013 when I insisted she buy $100 of btc and she’s never sold. She’s also never used Twitter.

I have no idea, but maybe the people on bitcoin twitter are true “bitcoiners” while the people who aren’t, are just people who casually own bitcoin as one of their many investments.
I think it’s important to consider that the most oppressed countries will find the most real world value and necessity in bitcoin today, whereas in the west, we are stacking as a way to save. A lot of these people may not have access to Twitter.
