Let's work on building out some Nostr NIP-172 communities. If you're a Reddit user or former Reddit user, create some of the communities that you used to frequent and start posting content there. After you have a few days worth of content, reach out to your former Subreddit members and see if they'd be interested in joining you. We have to build this for them to come.
How do I start building like this?
you can visit satellite.earth, nostr.kiwi, or zapddit.com and start. i personally feel that satellite.earth has the best support for communities right now.
What clients are worth checking out so far?
satellite.earth seems to function the best thus far for communities.
Iβll check it out with a new key set. Private key straight into the web browser is a pretty hard sell at this stage but I will look at the clients you mentioned in another comment too.

I have not seen anyone using reddit in Japan. I hadn't been using it either, so I registered today and gave it a try.
I created a community on satellite. So far I like satellite π€
