I don’t think most bitcoiners realize that you can get a lot of hash rate with regular wall outlet power. Like even in a small apartment… they make miners now that are kicking ass for at home solo lotto miners.

I’m about to experiment with a lot of them

I’ll report it all on Nostr obvi

I need to find something with enough power to replace mom's space heater without breaking the bank. 500-1000W. Bitaxe power supply makes a decent dog bed warmer but not much more than that.

There are great options available for that

I have a guy building me a Loki rig right now that I could use as a space heater

Bitaxe is just fun

But if you wanna put out heat with regular wall outlet power

It’s definitely possible right now pretty cheap

I’ll post a few things for u to look at hang on a sec

What kind of miner would a person look for for something small? Off grid and not unlimited power. Would only run it from mid morning to early evening most days.

Are you just looking to mine or for heat reuse?

Just mining.

Canaan makes a portable heater for like 300 bucks and gets like 6 th/s

Then for like 700-1000 bucks you could really put out some heat and get a lot of hash

Like 40-100 th …

$999 is a little more than I'd hoped to spend but sounds like a better deal than the Nano.

Avalon Mini 3

Specification: 37.5T | 800W | 21.3J/T

$999

$26.64/TH

$1.25/W

Avalon Nano 3S

Specification: 6T | 140W | 23.3J/T*

$299

$49.83/TH

$2.14/W

Get an s9 for less than 100 bucks

Build it into an igloo cooler to minimize noise, then point the heat anywhere like a space heater??
