But it’s not his follows that he is missing (his follows are being saved just fine), is what people post which includes followers.

I was chatting with another nostr user today and noticed the only relay we had in common was relay.damus.io. Removing it would make that user ā€˜disappear’, so to speak. I mean, I could broadcast my notes to him (one of my paid relays broadcasts to the Damus one), but I wouldn’t be able to see any of his new notes. It’s a delicate balance
