What a pity to take this attitude.

I stopped posting for a while bc:

1. The workload is too much at times.

2. The audience just isn’t so engaged here.

"Get over yourself" was a little rough. If I had to summarize, I'd say they meant you're not posting regularly enough to gain a following.
