Mega Kafkaesque interactions with Google Play. They rejected my Bitchat app submission because now it suddenly violates copyright.

I'm the owner of the copyright 😂

Bitchat license says public domain 🤔

I decide the license.

I’m confused. Did you create the other bitchat app too? If it’s public domain then there’s no copyright? Is there another bitchat app we don’t know about that IS copyrighted?

I created the Android app (which this is about) and I can change the license whenever I want, that's how it works.

Because of public domain license on iOS version?

Right

Definitely geniuses working over there.

Maybe a naming issue? The code is public domain, but is the bitchat name? nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m

It's MIT until I decide that it's not, at least that's how I understand how it works. I submitted previous copyright claims which supposedly lead the copycat app to be taken down.

I just wonder what they have an issue with. The original code from Jack is public domain, right? Your app is under your license, I get that. But is your app also called Bitchat? I wonder if they have an issue with that, since a public figure like Jack has released an app with the same name on iOS.

it was about the screenshots, app icons, and the name (which are all flagged now because of the prev impersonation)

Oh I see.

who did not see it was coming? cyberpunks are not corporate CXOs

send to Fdriod apkpure ...

"Bitchat" is trademarked in the EU in Class 9 (mobile apps, etc.). If the holder filed a complaint or if it was discovered later on then these things happen, a very common thing.

they complained about the screenshots, app icons, and the name (which are all flagged now because of the prev impersonation)

try to rename it to "Coca-Cola app", and see what happens ;)
