My MacBook pro is dead apparently. Not quite 2.5 years of babying a high end product just to have it completely die on me. I suppose I should have had apple care, but I also figured with such a premium product that I wouldn't have any trouble with it. Especially since I took such good care of it.
No warranty coverage and not much help from apple. Send it in and we'll fix it for $800 minimum.
Not sure if I will buy any more apple products. Severely disappointed.
