I’ve been here for 2 halvings.

There was 1 before I got here.

If I’m extremely lucky I may get the chance to see 13 more.

My children may live to see an additional 8 beyond my lifetime.

My grandchildren an additional 8 beyond theirs.

My great grandchildren will be the only ones left alive to witness the final halving in 2140.

33 halvings in total.

It is likely that I will never meet my descendants who witness this monumental event.

So if you’re reading this little ones, just know I love you.

It was my great pleasure to leave you with more than I was given.

I am trusting you to do the same.

Awesome job on #[2] ‘s new 3-part intro series man, super helpful 🤙

PV 🤙

That’s assuming your grandchildren outlive yourself by only 64 years?

At the rate things are going now, we’ll probably all be around for all the halvings…

Yep. Very likely we make it.

I think many of us are doing everything possible to get to that technical/medical horizon with a healthy enough body.

Steak and eggs, repeat.

Throw some golden brown hash browns on the side, and you got yourself a deal.

🤝

Beef Benedict with béarnaise sauce with hash browns…🤤

Doubtful

Yea someone needs to work on math. 😂

Or is it more like a statistic that once your parents kick the bucket, you got 32 left?

No statistic. I just ran the numbers for my own clan.

You were 32 when you had your first kid? And your kids have 13+8=25 halvings. That’s 100 years. And you plan to love to 100 too so you must be 48 because 100-(13x4)=48. And your oldest must be about 16?

every halving will have less of an impact on supply (and hence price) than the previous one. halving #20 not going to be that exciting imo. not even sure the next one will be that exciting tbh.

It hurts a little inside. But it's beautiful too. Man you stroke a chord here. 🫂💜

Heartwarming 😍
