I used Mint for 2 years, and now I'm trying Ubuntu, and I say... Mint is needed in terms of casualness, but professionalism, I don't know if it's ideal, as there are Debiam, Fedora, Kali, but it goes from function where everyone wants to use a certain distro.

PS: Just opinion.🙂

Try Qubes-OS

I know, Snowden uses this distro, but for what I want to do (Cybersecurity), Kali is the Distro that I will use in the future or Parrot, but Kali has more presence when it comes to providing security and privacy.

Thank you for the suggestion.🙂

There is a kali template available on Qubes. This is the beauty of this OS, you can have any OS that you want (even Windows) under the same roof and segregated from others and also with their own gateway (clearnet, tor or vpn) with different firewall rules for each one.

Would it be similar to a Virtual Machine?

Because the Kernel already comes with a KVM in itself.

Linux boils down to 3 distros.

Debian

Fedora / Red Hat

Arch

Gnome

KDE
