Looks like the…agencies, can play nicely together.

Sad that #Monero got dragged into the spotlight as the criminal’s #Crypto of choice for “privacy” over #BTC

If you’re still in #XMR & are waiting for folks to flock to you…it’s unlikely to happen.

Why privacy in quotes? Amounts and addresses are completely hidden on Monero. Even with coinjoins, Bitcoin is not private in any true sense. Everything is visible no matter what you do.

They probably fell to the countless articles claiming Monero was compromised.

Monero is definitely on the ropes at the moment.

I’ve been watching it bob & weave w/the punches but again…it’s not looking well, in my opinion

People are raging against the machine every day. Can't rage far with traceable Bitcoin for long without getting fucked.

B/c that was emphasized in the article. Did you read it?

If not give it a whirl & let me know if you feel differently. I’m △⃒⃘lways up to catch outside insights.

Helps me communicate better

So a crypto ransomware operator was taken down. What does that have to do with Monero? They mention it briefly in passing, but the article almost has nothing to do with Monero. It doesn't even go into the details of how they were caught

I was talking about this:

“While Bitcoin was their initial preference, the group shifted towards Monero and other digital assets seeking greater anonymity…”

I found it sad that they mentioned Monero in such a way. Monero has some good points, but this singles them out as a token hackers shifted to for greater anonymity 🟰 privacy.

I thought that’d be obvious enough. I’ll work on breaking it down more, for next time.

Montero fucks. Bitcoin fucks users.
