The cost of living is cheap still. There's plenty of rain too. Not to mention a very diverse river delta if you like fishing. Whe I moved there I though, well if I become homeless I won't die immediately.

If you think about it amd it came to that kind of survival it really does make sense.
It does. Interesting to think that the coastlines are the most populated, but if you took every convenience away, it would be much better to live in the interior. Better soil, more access to water, more resources for shelter etc.
