Money is fake and that includes #bitcoin and any other form of currency. Currency is just an arbitrary fiction that consensus reality is gaslit into agreeing with.

Labor and intentional acts of community will replace capital in the new world that emerges from the corpse of fascism…

I implore everyone to remain curious and compassionate… release the need for certainty, predictability, control, comfort, security… truly it only causes suffering…

Liberation is in gnosis.

Liberation from that which is outside of you only can be attained from within.

Guides and teachers cannot fast track gnosis… they can only illuminate the path in the dark, and reassure the seeker when appropriate.

You’re gonna feel very uncomfortable. Good.

Stories and songs and art are compasses... Maps... Breadcrumbs…

The lotus grows from the muck. So do we.

depends on how you define fiction and arbitrary - do you consider mathematics an arbitrary fiction?

I think abstraction is a better descriptor.

The entire human experience of life is an abstraction of reality, it necessarily must be, since brains have a finite processing capability. So money is a abstraction of human effort that can be traded for the efforts of another.

The problem is that math is basically law, and that mathematics follows rules that it does not deviate from. You said yourself that money is an abstraction of human effort that can be traded for the efforts of another, however, there is no actual amount of value that is consistent for the amount of effort and energy output of any given person. That is why get rich quick schemes are so predatory. That’s why billionaires are such parasites. If money stopped having value how many wealthy people could actually start using their labor and exchange for goods and services? How many can cook for someone and clean for someone and rear children for someone effectively?

When i did a research essay into the history of money in Canada i found that the indigenous communities of canada had trade networks and political agreements that were held together with symbolism (wampum belts) and the potlatch ceremonies were like advanced socialism were tax didn’t exist but a form of reciprocal loyalties through gifting and making sure everyone had material standing as well as a place in the community via the chief. Money was a foreign concept, barter and trade were normal.

Money is a tool that is n extension of the person wielding it. It’s when we cast too wide a net while using currency as the primary tool of value, it compresses too many variables beyond small scale trade engagements. Money holds too much power, but in general, the concept of using “money” as a filler for “thing we both agree upon is a fair exchange of intention and energy” is not inherently the root of suffering or collapse.

Sorry I replied to you when I meant to reply to the other commenter… I agree with indigenous trade practices

Besides those 2 first paragraphs, well said.

This is nostr so you are free to voice your opinion but I would implore you to study monetary history and austrian economics before making such claims. I know you've done your homework in other subjects but money and austrian economics is clearly very surface level.

Money is as fake as subjectivity can be considered "fake", but that does not necessarily mean a subjective view is without immense soul searching + objective rationale behind it.

All the best ✌️
