I’m an actuary - and I feel the same way about that profession. A bunch of pseudo-scientists who drank the kool-aid and believed their own bullshit.

Sad thing is - financial collapses would never be as big as they are without the participation of actuaries. They’ve ruined every system they’ve been trusted with. But the public wants to trust that someone understands these risks - so they keep giving it to these dipshits.
