If you buy meat, dairy, seafood, fruits, and vegetables you can actually get quite a bit of food for the money. Add in nuts, seeds, granola in bulk and you’ve got a really well equipped fridge vs if shop the filler aisles in the middle for filler foods for *your* middle.
Thing is, people prioritize convenience over quality in so many areas. It’s easier to drive through than to park and go in to a store for something that isn’t just better for you, but tastes better too.
