I think some sort of video call / conference would be great

No kyc bitcoin purchase facility

Some Bitcoin wallets, like Breez and Phoenix, contain a full Lightning client inside. These apps still need an external full ₿ node but the app manages its own channels.

Now, to make #nostr more resilient I would love to see clients that have a build in relay. It doesn't have to store and share a lot of stuff, but at least your own messages, as well as maybe a random or selective set of 5-25 of your contacts’ messages.

To make the nostr network more resilient clients should have a way of knowing and viewing how many different relays a message is hosted.

We need this because having for example a connection to 20 relays is in no way a guarantee that these relays are all relaying your messages. There are also no guarantees that all their messages from people you follow are indeed forwarded to you.

It's basically impossible to know if an NPUB is being silently censored by parties on the NOSTR network.

In order to be able to see the effect of censorship, all messages should have a cryptographically verifiable tally or count number. Every nee messages is +1.

That way, if only one message does get through to a receiver, it will become immediately apparent that a number of previous messages was successfully censored.

A great way to be not just a follower but a Super follower or a pleb on #nostr is to relay their notes with your private relay. It may not be possible to relay all notes from everyone that you follow, but you should at least be able to relay the messages from some of the NPUBS that you follow.

Clients should have a “SuperFollow” button that basically instructs your own relay (maybe the one that’s running on your own phone) to start relaying the notes that are coming from this NPUB.

The content of DM’s can not be read by others but the fact that messages are going back and forward is visible by other network participants.

An easy way to make DM’s less visible is to:

Spin up a new key pair , just for this one conversation.

Then share that public key with the npub that you wish to converse with. Lastly the receiving client should then take that key and also spin up and share a separate key pair and start sending messages over this different key-pair then the one you publicly use to post with.

This way a new key pair for both participant in the conversation is spun up , just for this conversation.

That way, the keys can never be linked to public messages that could potentially DOXX the sender.
