I believe I have figured out the issue, but don't know how to fix it just yet. The remote node's closing transaction cannot be found in either my mempool and I also don't see it on mempool.space.

The current status of the channel is:

ChanStatusBorked|ChanStatusCommitBroadcasted|ChanStatusLocalCloseInitiator, won't start.

The average person on the street is SO going to easily run a node, eh? πŸ˜†

You can try reclosing it again maybe it will rebroadcast,

lncli pendingchannels

lncli closechannel --force

i had tried this earlier. it's already in the process of being force closed so it doesn't work :(

have you already tried restarting lnd? if I don't recall wrong it should re broadcast the TX

Everyone should run a node

It’s more than most people want to deal with unfortunately. Hardware costs, download times, technical ability are all hinderances

if you haven't got it sorted already, open an issue on and github the devs are very helpful
