A few things:
- I was your age when this thing first appeared.
- I wish I were aging this well.
- Speaking of aging well, how awesome is Gordon Murray? Heβs still topping himself (T50, T33) after all these years.
Gordon is a living legend. I think his design house will live on long past him.
Few have ever been able to mastermind both the aesthetics and the engineering aspects of a design. I suppose Horacio Pagani comes closer than other contemporaries but I feel like he tips towards the art-object side of things, especially with interiors.
I think Gordon is in the same league as the old Italian Carozzeria the likes of Bertone, Zagato.. Pininfarina. Pagani is his own and yes, definitely art pieces.
