Sure it is. There are multiple future uses. For example: Imagine a future where you can instantly donate money to charities where you *know* it 100% goes where you want to. Or maybe to directly support creators you like. All money goes directly to them, no cuts for intermediaries. Or you just want to send some money to your friends or family directly as well. And much much more is possible.
Uncertain whether a valid user case, as the late Mr Lennon imagined. Paying for services iām sure there are payment services for, be it the artist or a worthy cause, but buy sats to donate sounds like a sketchy argument to justify all sorts of deviant and corrupt practices and all money going to them sure sounds like a script trying to lip service a good time for thieving. No cute for intermediates while being the intermediate sounds like a broken nation, broken economy and soon behind bars operatives.
Would have been better convincing as a social wallet service for friends, but guessing difficult to do when needing to close those conceptual pitfalls of corruption. 
So if the social media in question is not the mediating body, how would that make sense, and why would people be donating instead of paying for services and charity?
The underlying argument is weak and corrupt when needing to imagine.

The authorities only would need to take a look at purchase patterns to establish the case when going through the store and paying a third as well so doubting the explanation in question will hold under questioning and this in turn would forfeit the entire houseās banking as guessing the revolution leads to hong kong or something and the good peoples money wiped out the way #bitcoin exchanges were.

And not a question of whether possible to stick up a liquor store, but question is whether worth the effort going dumb fuck thug believing and assuming itās senior citizens to convince, as that third doesnāt offer any protection against the man hungry for more. 
Not to mention the stores capped purchase price where the most generous ādonationā is like a dinner for two.
Wouldnāt even be able to cover the development of the house with that without having in and out imbalance even if imploring bot swarms since the flow downstream would be traceable.
