I'm going to build a Wot crowdfunding platform where the users are paid directly to their ln addresses with no intermediarys.

It will work on a web of trust, everyone must provide a valid Nostr login, fill out images and an about me explaining what the money is for.

And the cool part? Sick leaderboards and simple modern design.

Other users will be able to sign an event on a fundraiser using their own Npub to show that they trust the person funding to avoid scams.

The higher the trust, the higher the rank, so nothing can be faked.

The app will take 0 commission, I am doing this cause there is obviously a huge problem with scams right now.

I'm not sure the date this app will be available, probably sometime early next year.

By scams do you mean geyser scams or other?

Yes, quite a few on there and other platforms.

Direct funding seems to work best these days. So i guess you are on to something

some people feel the need to extract value from those who are actually producing value.

use zaps-goals NIP. it exists. it’s doable . Or make custom NIP.
