You don't seem to understand. The professor from the video with Joe Rogan is called Brian Cox. My "ad hominem", if you want to see it that way, was towards him. He is no good.

I do know what they were measuring in the "Behind the Curve" documentary. They (Flat Earth cultists) performed two experiments, one to measure curvature of Earth on a plain leveled by water. The other was about rotation of the Earth.

They invested a lot of money on a laser gyroscope for the latter, only to confirm that the Earth in fact rotates. They could've just used a Foucault pendulum and save a lot of money. Hilarious.

You keep referring to faucalt pendulum, which is refuted by the very existence of relativity. Nice and easy to dismiss someone who doesn't support your beliefs, even though these are exactly the mainstream beliefs and justifications.

And no, in the documentary, they were not measuring the rotation of the Earth because that cannot be done using optics, as proven with Michelson-Morley... which once again, is why relativity was proposed.
