You've gotta look at your hashrate as a percentage of the overall hashrate (it's shown at the top). There are some players with a significant percentage of the hashrate, meaning that compared to them your chance of winning is quite low. Also luck plays a factor too, especially over short timeframes. It's exactly the same situation that actual bitcoin miners face! The ones with the best strategy and access to resources/work end up on top 🙂
