We don't know. The App Store review process is a black box for the most part. They are not super consistent in the way they apply their rules.
Is there a technical description of what you submitted / link to source? I'm interested in doing similar things.
Nostur and yakihonne also support NWC. You have to do a weird workaround to get it to work on Damus. Super inconsistent enforcement
