GN, freedom doesn’t mean that everyone is going to agree on social issues or that people will only “be nice” to you. Thinking that either is relevant to the idea of liberty is to misunderstand the fundamental reason it’s so important and what it actually means.

Freedom is important because we will *never* all agree on social issues. They explicitly don’t scale, which is exactly why freedom is necessary.
