I’ve like passively told the story, but I should probably make a little short on it lol. The IMDB version is that I had a virtual work meeting, so I had the shirt and tie on, then shortly after I had a non work virtual meeting and I decided “I bet it would be funny if I put the vest on for this one” and I did. Someone snagged a screenshot (attached) and it became like an inside joke meme, then it made it to Twitter, and I decided to make it my entire personality hahaha. Dumb story, but kinda fun.

The initial interest in getting a vest came from me watching a music video or something where a guy was wearing one in a scenario that 100% did not require a tac vest and I said to myself “That guy looks insanely cool right now. I want one.” And immediately bought one on Amazon.
