Looks like Elon has been reading some Austrian economics literature. Still, both guys are wrong.

Public/private keys are the way to go. You retain privacy of your data, but you’re not free from accountability, especially on social media. If you lie, cheat, or steal, the receipts are public — just not always attributed to a legal name.

Governments are indeed worse than most corporations, having a monopoly on violence and money, but technocratic empires can be arguably worse: they possess all the data, all the information leverage, they’re smarter than most politicians and they can cover their tracks better. At least you can see the gun in the government’s hand. The algorithm’s leash? You don’t even notice it’s there.

They can both go an fuck themselves. I won't comply to anything like that.

Yeah, both of them are super cringe.

It's this general conviction that these douchebags share - they both think they have the right to come up with something they think is the way to go, and then force everyone around the world to follow their shit. Fuck these kind of people. I'm so fed up with this shit. Adults can decide for themselves what to do, and when it comes to children, it's the responsibility of the parents to make decisions, and no one else.
