The biggest issue I've seen with ANY decentralized video hosting platform is that it's SLOW. If it's really slow to load things, it doesn't really matter what else it can do.
If I was running one, I'd prioritize performance over everything else (while working on creative ways to seed with content)
The same goes for nostr
Sadly you're never gonna see it get fast. Video is only fast because there is a box owned by "megacorp" and paid for sitting directly in the data center next to your connection. Unless you invent middle-out compression for us 😂 #siliconvalley
