📇⬇️ policy:
i have no use for senator kennedy's politics in most settings but this is an example of simple reality against rhetoric.
i believe it is as much a profound disservice against the lbgtqai+ community to be associated with pornography as their exclusive pout of identity reference as it is to have graphic sexual scenes in the children's section of libraries. it has nothing to do with gayness to expose children to extreme sexual description than it does with straightness keeping all diversity from being taught.
and to teach gay children they are nothing more than sex objects as an identity is also grooming - ability and sexuality. i don't care which lobby promotes it: pornography marketed to children and youth is a cheap sell for exploitation markets. is there nothing more to all layers of gayness than sex? maybe that is the more important conversation.
as for holding up the mirror: rhetorical sensationalism at all costs never has a solution. only grandstanding. that is the point.
