The covering up of the predatory priests is almost as bad as the predatory acts.
Unfortunately the church has been infiltrated by some people who hate God and its creation.
Because they don’t allow their clergy to have sex. It’s a suppression of nature and thus can lead to (or attract) perversion in men.
Any institutions that have access to children (churches, public schools, Boy Scouts, etc) will draw predators. Like any human organization, the Church is full of sinners, and likely, all will not be saved, but if you take salvation and God’s revelation seriously, the Church still is what it says it is despite these scandalizers.
