Yes there is the matter that I take home security seriously…so the country would need to permit personal firearms (no, I have no high capacity firearms). Heck, I still like to hunt (as well as shake my rancher’s hand) to stay away from the hormones and crap they feed CAFO

animals.

Oh, and beaches are great, but I gotta have tennis courts (and preferably someone to teach). And the wife needs pickleball…first world problem, I’m sure.

Problem is so far I have seen that seemingly all south and central american countries have draconian gun restrictions. Until that is changed somewhere AND a significant portion of the population gets armed, will remain USA remains in a league of owns despite the taxes and corruption

Not what I wanted to hear. I'll definitely be researching Central/South American countries, and that will be one of the criteria (along with Bitcoin acceptance, stable government, decent internet speeds...and did I mention tennis/pickleball?)

Guess I should start learning Spanish. Took it in high school...and college...never put it into practice, though. I keep telling my wife she will be my translator - with all of her Duo Lingo consecutive days - she's not having it.
