Funnily enough, even if you are a CB proponent, at this point you have to question their performance, and whether they 'deserve' the position they hold.

1. Mandate banks to hold treasuries.

2. Raise rates and devalue those very treasuries they make banks hold.

3. Watch as it crushes banks that need to sell their holding for operational reasons.

4. Step in when the damage is done, and close down said banks.

It's crazy to me. The one job they have - provide stability to the moneetary system - and they completely fuck it up.

Worse, you could say they cause at least some of it.

I love them and I'm proud that I was there when they formed. And I'm proud of them for getting the Party back. At least we don't have to hear liberal nonsense from the LP anymore.
