Preschooler: “I don’t want to be a doctor anymore.”

Me (trying to keep a straight face as I’m filled with an indescribable amount of joy and sense of relief): “Why’s that?”

Preschooler: “I don’t want to put my hand in peoples’ butts.”

Me (fighting back tears of joy and profound proudness): “Hmmm…probably a good decision then.”
