I love that your heart leads you to want to keep bees β‘ This looks to be wild bees but I canβt be sure which kind or if they are indeed wild. If you want to keep honeybees, they will require a hive body, some supers and other tools, whether you plan to harvest honey or not. There are a few things to consider like water source and wind protection, etc. I would go online to see if you have a local beekeepers association. Those are very helpful for getting started in your specific area, finding equipment, getting bees, advice, mentors, etc.
Thank you so much for the kind adviceβI really appreciate it. Iβll definitely look into a local beekeepers association and start learning more. ππ½
Always feel free to hit us up with specific questions. It is too broad to just dive in and lay out your course without more knowledge. Some non-honey-harvesters prefer top bar hives (which we donβt do), some like the Flow hive, etc.
Thank you so much again! Iβll definitely take you up on that offer. Iβve started reading more about their life cycle, and I think I found a beekeeper association in a nearby city. So, Iβm planning to reach out to them too.
