I don't think they're equally important,
5m in Nostr development money is more meaningful to Nostr than the 5m in btc dev money is to btc.
I do love the commitment to Nostr though especially considering his other ventures.
Do you know what I find most interesting about the 10 million dollars that nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m donated to nostr:npub10pensatlcfwktnvjjw2dtem38n6rvw8g6fv73h84cuacxn4c28eqyfn34f. The amount donated is meaningful in itself, but that's not the most interesting part of the announcement. The fact that 5 million is to go towards #Bitcoin development and 5 million is to go towards #Nostr development. That means they're equally important. And, we all know how important Bitcoin will be to the future of the world, right? That's how important Nostr can be if we work hard enough. Wild. 🤯 When people realize this, they'll come, and we'll be ready.
