LN is a second layer for Bitcoin and Liquid is a sidechain
Liquid is a custodial centralized shit coin. It's privacy claims are severely overblown, it is not censorship resistant, it is simply an op to make middlemen rich.
Aren't all sidechains like that?
Lightning is bitcoin but liquid is not it has federated nodes that control peg in and peg out.
Lightning has custodial services and there are no federated nodes but peg in and out is a regular Bitcoin txn. That is the difference. Who will be the first victim to peg out of liquid?
