I guess my direct questions is should I take the pension and roll it into something else? There are 5 figures of cash balance that I don’t want to defer for 30 more years. The stacking and staying humble is not an issue for me 🤘

You may not be able to get the payout until you quit that job and begin a new one. Even then the original company needs to have Finance managers who decide to offer it.
