Wherever there are children on the internet there will always be predators looking for them. There is nowhere safe for them. They will always find a way in to get to them. It’s best to not make it easy for them to find them
The frontier of distributed content over relays is largely unexplored and worth exploring in my opinion. The current digital space for children is far from ideal. #nostr can change this.
And as a result you also put them behind in their education of computers & their role on the internet when trying to shelter off their world view.
I think the best answer probably lies somewhere in the middle for most parents. Personally, Ive always chosen the path that isn't based off of fear & it's worked out for me thus far in my life so I'm gonna continue down that path. 🤙
