A dream FOSS funding entity would really be no admin, just flow through bounty/grants using BTC.

A group of key holders would approve dispersement.

Like the fake decentralized DAOs

But I don’t know any way to hold that BTC without legal entity due to state bs and no tax receipts either.

Maybe some obscure non-profit entity type in a country like Switzerland?

I keep hoping that sovereign part of Antarctica will start admitting citizens with a low barrier to entry and no residency requirements.

I'm calling it ANCAPistan, but that doesn't solve your issue completely either.
